Digital Watercolors are created through a complex computer process that requires constant supervision and hands-on
manipulation by the artist. Photographs must be of appropriate quality and size for a satisfactory result to be obtained—preferably
uncompressed JPEG's or TIFFs of at least 1.5MB . Traditional photos can be scanned at high resolution (300 - 360 DPI) and may
also produce a good result if the subject is large enough and clear enough. Photographs may be emailed directly to
jfk@blackdoggallery.com with the words DIGITAL PORTRAIT in the subject line for a free assessment of suitability and estimate.
A 25% deposit is required when a portrait is commissioned. Pricing includes one email proof. The deposit is fully refundable if the
portrait is unable to be completed for any reason. Portraits will be mounted on acid free foam board, and double matted to fit
standard ready-made frames. Pricing does not include shipping.
