Devin Koller
Youngest member of The Little Black Dog family of artists,
Devin Koller is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford,
CT. Though his day job is Electrical Engineering, Devin is a
multi-talented artist. In addition to painting and drawing,
Devin writes music and poetry and plays the guitar. His
favorite artistic media are pencil, pastel, acrylic, oil, and the
unusual technique of “painting” on canvas with clay. A
juried member of the Cape Cod Art Association, Devin
loves color and form and is an avid student of modern art,
drawing inspiration from the likes of Jackson Pollock, Piet
Mondrian, Giacomo Balla.
“These are the primary figures responsible for any level of influence upon my
work. While each contributes, none dictate. I borrow upon common themes.
My goal is to decorate the picture plane with Motion, Rhythm, and Integration.
The bulk of my work has been in the arena of abstraction. While I do not
usually present an image, I will often suggest one.”
