Hi! I'm Adrienne - the owner and manager of Adrienne's cafe! You'll
find me here every weekday, preparing our signature sandwiches,
baking delicious pastries and creating amazing coffee
concoctions!We planned the café as a quiet haven in the midst of
life's hustle and bustle. It's a place where you can stop by, step out of
your everyday life and sink into one of our comfortable wicker
armchairs. And while you're having morning coffee, lunch or
afternoon tea and cake, you can also browse the shelves of the
bookshop, which is situated inside the cafe.

Situated near the rear of the marketplace, Adrienne’s Café pleases customers with its
great-tasting deli sandwiches, homemade soups, gourmet coffees, and baked goods
made from old family recipes. We make cakes, pies and cookies, most of which are
made from my grandmother’s recipes. Old-fashioned cookies, apple pies and pumpkin
pies are some of the most popular. Our bakers offer a unique service for those who want
to replicate a favorite recipe. We have people who come in and say, “My grandmother
used to make this, but I don’t have time or just don’t know how. ” We will make it for them
from scratch. We also offer wedding cakes, which are as delicious as they are beautiful.
It was my childhood dream (to bake). Not too many people are lucky enough to make
their hobby their job. With my husbands help, I have been lucky enough to be able to do
that. The Café also offers a signature breakfast sandwich, The Bom Dia, which is made
with a Portuguese muffin, egg, cheddar cheese, and linguica (a Portuguese sweet
sausage). One can complement that meal with a delicious cup of gourmet coffee. Two
customer favorites are “Wake the Dead” and “Zombie.” Traditional coffees, cappuccinos,
and lattes are a morning favorite both here and at our original location just down the road
at 420 Union Street.

manage the bookshop right here in the cafe.

and exciting titles! We have the very best in
fiction, and, of course, we also support local
authors and book projects. We welcome book
clubs to meet in our cozy setting, as well as
other groups of all kinds. We also do a lively
take-out business. The cafe opens at 6AM and
serves until 3 PM weekdays. Saturdays: 9AM -
3PM. Sundays: Noon - 3PM.
